IABC Int'l Conference - New York, City of contrasts
I spent my first few minutes in New York at the airport trying to find my shuttle into Manhattan. Lost and in a sterile stainless steel elevator designed for 30 people, I never felt so alone.
Half an hour later, the shuttle-bus (thankfully with me inside it) rolled through Times Square. I was passing through the neon, pulsing heart of the city, surrounded by more people packed into a city block than I’d seen in my entire life. My very first experience in this city showed me how New York is truly a city of contrasts.
