Over the past six months as I prepared to take on the role of president of IABC/BC for 2008-2009, I was fortunate enough to attend three IABC gatherings outside of British Columbia all of which helped immensely to improve my perspective of our chapter.

 

The first was the IABC Leadership Institute in San Antonio in February where incoming chapter leaders from around the world gathered to learn from their peers and those who had been before them how to lead a chapter.
